Gingermon was recently interviewed by No Fly Zone in an exclusive one-on-one. During the interview, Gingermon opened up about who he was and how he got to where he is now. He revealed about how his love for reggae starting when he was just 10 years old and learning various musical instruments. He shared his first major career move was being able to open for a NYC girl rock band when he was just 21 years old. Three years later, he met two producers who helped him make his first album
He further went into which artists he’s worked with and how his song, “Carve Pumpkins” was started with a short and fun song his daughter would sing one day while they were carving pumpkins before Halloween. He decided to take this jingle and use it as the hook. The song features Predator Dub Assassins and Jah Bami’s.
Gingermon shared a crazy road story that happened while he was on tour, showing that no one escaped the wild touring stories we hear of. He also unveiled his hopes for his next album to be hopefully released by 2020.
